SMD Technical has successfully been supplying the corporate event industry, corporate hospitality industry as well as weddings & upmarket private functions with various services and unique speciality engineered products since 1995.

The company is divided into two sections namely the services side and the speciality product section. The services side includes lighting, laser shows, sound, staging, generators, power distribution, DJ's and music consultations while the speciality products side includes various battery products and battery lightboxes and led lighting products.

Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions

SMD Technical has been specialising in weddings since 1989, entering into the market supplying sound systems and DJ's. Then in 1995 adding venue lighting and garden lighting, in 2004 adding the first of the battery products in the form of the original table lightbox and later extending it even further due to demand in 2005 to supplying generators and power distribution.
